The Daily Mail includes a
story about how despite a spate of warning stories, investor
demand for commercial property funds shows no signs of waning.
Many
experts believe the market will return to its historical
average of single digit returns in 2007, but think the argument
that the sector as a whole is overvalued is too simplistic.
For example, demand for City office space
remains intense, but High Street retail space has tailed
off. Instead, there is a growing belief that performance
will be driven by the skills of individual fund managers
rather than being a sector story next year.
